Jess's Poem Part 1 Poem by Rick Rambus

Jess's Poem Part 1

I met you in a cyber realm
you the
blonde
angelic
wonderchild
with those saphire eyes
that look so deep into
ones soul
and the voice
the nectar sweet that
resounds in my head
before i go to sleep at night
and even though you are
new
to me
it's like you've always been around
in my secret little comfort zone.

Sometimes
at night
I sit alone
here on my bed
and surround myself
with thoughts of you
and baffled at the
surreality of this
sip a steaming cup of
camomile tea and in my
deep set paranoia
wonder
if you realy dream of me
and I create
a silly little fantasy
of picnics in a garden
and of how you might look
in a flowing summer
cotton dress
and flowers in your hair.

Oh fair maiden
that dwells within
mine heart
what have a vagabond
like me
done to deserve
such a precious gift
as you
a perfect dream of
womanhood and
sculpted Venusian perfection
a statue queen of Michealangelo?

That first night
when I saw your face
at the pub there on the corner
I thought I'd died and
went to heaven
'twas just about half past seven
when i looked into
your azure eyes
and marvelled at
the dimple in your cheek
and wondered how it was
that to such a perfect creature
I had the privelage to speak.
