Jealousy Poem by Hollie McDaniel

Jealousy

Rating: 5.0

she raps her arms around him
pulls him in for a hug
she holds on a little to long
jealousy sits in
i want to hit her
i don't
I'm way to nice
i walk up and say hi
how can i take it
this monster that arises
every time some girl touches him
i can almost hear her thoughts
she watches him walk away with me
the same monster that threatened to consume me
i saw staring back from her eyes
jealousy is a dangerous thing
if left unchecked
it destroys every thing in it's path
it's my secret obsession
my secret weapon
one day I'll use it against her
and she'll sink into the background
she'll never touch him again
