Jasmine's Dream Poem by Justin Gildow

Jasmine's Dream

Throw the shackles off your ankles
And fly away tonight
Fly away to another place in time
Fly away to another state of mind
Fly away with me

You're the same as me it seems
Suprisingly, it seems we share the same dreams
We can't deny it
It only seems like fate in one way or another
Tonight there's glitter and the wind
And we can hope to become lovers
It seems almost evident
All positively, wonderfully, transcendent

I just hope as the days and years fly by
Like the clouds breezing by tonight in the sky
Joining us
That us and our love will last
And that we don't live in the past
And forgive and forget
And that we'll get better with time
