Rating: 5.0

Sweet Jasmine drooped her pretty head,
There was no sign of him today;
Her gentle heart was filled with dread,
to know he was so far away...

Her spirit wilted 'neath the gaze
of the glaring sun above;
She withered slowly in the blaze
yearning for her longlost love...

At night, when all the world was still,
he thundered in, in sweet surprise,
She revelled in the misty chill,
laughing at the starry skies!

'My love! ' she cried inbetween sips,
as Rain kissed her scented petal lips!

Matchless portrayal of nature showing the ordeal and resilience of a jasmine flower. Thank you, Roann Mendriq, for coming up with this poetic masterpiece.

Aroma of scent combined with craze for love draped with laughter.
