Jail In Jail Poem by Sylvia L. Wisner Molina

Jail In Jail

Rating: 5.0

You've worked decent jobs, but thought things happened to slow
So you tried the easy way out with only two ways to go
Fast easy money means nothing but trouble you know.
You should have known something was wrong when it caused you
your FREEDOM and keept you from home.
Jail In Jail...(Alone) ?
To buy a reputation? As a Gansta? a Dealer? a Cool Cat?
Wake up little brother, That's Not Where It's At.
Jail In Jail...(For That) ?
What a high price to pay, To wear thick gold chains hangin heavy
from your neck, To sport flashy rings, Wear fine clothes, Drive fancy
cars? Material things they come and they go, They dont make you
Who you are.
Jail In Jail...(That's Goin To Far)
Raised by good-hearted respectable parents, That taught you right
from wrong, To do the right things, To Respect...To be Strong...You?
Jail In Jail...(Hopefully Not For Long)
All: To be on Top of the world Monday and lost and at the Bottom
by Sunday
Jail In Jail...(Child Life Is To Short)
So: Don't waste your mind, Body and Soul, Get your Life back toghether Make that your Goal. Take back your FREEDOM, your DIGNITY and your Pride. It's all that you've got.
Jail (Spend Your Life) In Jail?
(That's Asking A Hell Of A Lot) ! ! !
