Jackson Poem by Sandra Osborne

Jackson

Once in a blue moon,
A dog like Jackson comes along.
I bought him for $25 when he was six weeks old,
And I always said 'Jack is a good dog,
Because he is good, and he is blue.'
And he was.

He died on Monday, Feb 13,2006.
A date that will always be, Blue Monday, to me.
I burried him on a farm where I used to live,
In a real nice spot, under a beach tree, by a small creek.

And, while I am not allowed to visit there anymore,
I will always love that dog,
Because he was good, and he was blue.
Because he was Jackson.
I Love you Jack!
