Jackdaw Poem by Phil Soar

Jackdaw

A Jackdaw stole my underwear, from off the washing line,
I didn't crow about it, or complain much at the time,
It flew into a nearby tree, and tried them on for size,
I shot it with a rifle, and kept it as a prize
