Iwd 2016 - Rapes - Stem The Rot

If rape is happening rife and no one cares,
It only shows the selfishness of all;
Insensitive society is the cause
For rising crimes against the female sex!

No age is spared as heinous turn all crimes;
The criminal kills the victim if he could;
They come in gangs and rape unwary kids;
The bureaucracy's mum in rapes galore.

How safe are children, ladies nowadays?
A neighbor burns the girl after he rapes;
The crime is growing ruthlessly, uncurbed;
The rapist known has planned the act, escapes.

Unchecked, the crime is rampant everywhere;
If you can't stop the menace, take the blame;
Democracy is lame and what a shame!
Tomorrow, it could be your kith and kin!

To put the blame on democracy is tough; laming and shaming it for not doing enough.
