Its Own History Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Its Own History

It has happened this before
We have remained sore
For thee want of knowledge
Since ages

The desert has stood magnificent
Even today its effect is present
I look at emerging mirage
It is impossible to write on page

It is real beauty of desert
The sand is powerfully blown at sent
Against adversary who is blinded by an illusion
The people have gone mad to run after with confusion

Desert has enriched many breeds
Animal like camel always finds bread
It lasts for days without water
The character of desert is never altered

The desert has its own history
It has hidden black gold to carry
Many countries get oil instead water
We still remain in dark and falter

Welcome sheila anerson.. Sheila Ann Anderson Sands of Time Silken sands Like desert’s veil Slowly covers all That time does fail Burying relics Covering old Hiding the past Like grains of gold Hidden treasures From forgotten past Memories move on But feelings last Winds and sand Now rule the land Hiding from all That time commands Then one day comes Spot in sand does shimmer A bit of hope inside For things that glimmer Spark of promising hope Ray of light shines through Reminding each seeker Of a love that’s due Most treasure seekers Look for relics of past Forget to look deep inside Most valuable treasures to last
