It Was Office Time
It was office time
Shrunken belly
Tears in eyes
The starving child
Hopefully stared
At the passers by
To have mercy
Give something to eat
Make him survive
Everybody looked
Pityingly at him
Nobody had time for
The starving child
Avoiding fine
Reaching office in time
Was more important
Than humanity
