It's Your Life Poem by Sandra Feldman

It's Your Life

Rating: 5.0

We need to detach
Ourselves,
From time to time,
From cruel reality
It should not be our
Only home
Dream a little,
Live and love
Like the Rose
When detached,
From its thorns
Life is too short
For trivialities,
What you love,
You should own.

Dear Sandra, reality can be the cruelest mistress. We do need to be distracted. Poetry does this beautifully. What wonderful insight you have.

From cruel reality we should detach time to time and we should feel the beauty of personality. This poem is very brilliantly penned.10
