It's What We Do (Quatrains) Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

It's What We Do (Quatrains)

Some say that they are this and they are that,
Discourse on intangibles that are not
Experienced theories right here on earth,
With these vague assumptions they just go forth.

And yet inside their inner being is a space,
That was created there to thirst and see His face.
A heart vacuum for truth that forever will be,
Unless filled by God, will always be empty.

Religions and books do not provide man's need
And Free Will, it does exist and it can lead
To roads they think are destinations in the end,
But there the misty fog of Nothing all these send.

Some say they're Atheist, Agnostic or Thinkers Free,
Skeptics, Leftist, Liberals, Free Masonry.
Labels do not mean a thing at all, it's what we do
That proves beliefs in life, whether false or true.

For out of the human heart come all that we are.
The inner peace inside that some find so far
Dwells only when the Prince of Peace sits enthroned
To give us the light, null all philosophies we owned.
