It’s True
The Eyes Are
The Windows
To The Soul

Look into someone’s eyes
Really look
And you might see
Terror and lies

Then look into the eyes
Of someone else
And you might see
A longing for peace and love
Then pray to god above
That they receive it

Look into my eyes and you will see
A mixture of tortured existence
And love and hate and terror but a soul
Which is good and honest to a fault
