It's True Poem by Morgan Michaels

It's True

Madame de Sevigne
Doted on her daughter
Sent her many artful, insistent letters
Many of which the ungrateful child read
But some of which she left unopened.
Which did she leave unopened?
Only the important ones.
How do I know? Unopened
Letters are the always the important ones.
