It's The Truth And You Know It Poem by Marcus McKinley

It's The Truth And You Know It

Rating: 5.0

If it is wrong for me to say, I love you
I love you, is not what I said
All the days I’ve been thinking of you
Saying, I love you, in my head

You cringe before me, I am a devil
Do you believe that because I said I am
Then… I am also a liar
Does that make the truth less of a mess

Dimming lights in the window, will soon extinguish
Bitter, the after taste of the granadilla
Souring the passion that once existed
Biting my tongue as you insisted
I the intensifier of truth and will

Is it I, you detest and scorn with spite
Mentally restless, sleepless at night
Speaking with tongue sharp, as
the letter V …… when
I say _ ____ ___ but, I am not in love

Welcome to my world...the world that professes love but hands bitterness...welcome on board...Lets make a pair and maybe together we might weather this storm. I have just been scorned with spite but time heals. I will get back up again, and so will you.....Look up my Broken Again written today..thanks
