It's Online! Poem by Clarence Prince

It's Online!

Rating: 5.0

Go, find out online
If you have the time
Why the sun shines
But not all the times
Or why the moon's light
Are some travelers' delight
If it's not just for its light
That makes their way bright
Moving darkness out of sight
To avert buying a flash-light
Does it make sense?

Go, find out online
For if nothing has been revealed
Then something has been concealed
A man can see and feel
When it's time for a meal
But he might have to wait
If the food-cart gets in a strait
Say someone locked the gate
And then, he gets into a debate
Dinner shall certainly be late
Does that make sense?

Go, find out online
If drinking wine is Divine
Or should one, from it decline
Though drinking it may be fine
For if there is no pure water
And thirst reaches its border
Then even if crossing the line
One may have a little wine
When it's time to dine
Does it make sense?
Go, find out online

Does it make sense? Laugh or smile a little!

I enjoyed this very much. You have rhythm that's for sure. I find myself skipping from line to line with a smile on my lips but also a sense that there is more than humor going on here- -or is that just my pessimistic nature having to stick its nose into everything? Regardless, I enjoyed the read and the attendant musings. 10

Are some travelers delight..............not sure if travelers could/should be travelers' or traveler's or travelers here. i'll leave it as it is; you ARE the poet! and (even without finishing the reading of it, yet) i'll say i plan to put it into: Section A of Oct.2016's 'a showcase for PH poets', a display of poems within a poem in my poem list on PH. thanks. now to finish reading. :) To averts buying a flash-light................this concept appeals to my sense of frugality and conservation of resources. unfortunately the moonlight is often very little to none at all! and maybe drop the s from averts? But he might has to wait.................i've heard people use has in a similar situation; i would use have. is it a Canadian way? ? :) if might was not there, i would use has. language! it can be so aggravating! ! ! once i checked the definitions of strait, i was ok with its use here. nice rhyming. i would just start eating from the cart, wherever i was, strait or no strait! ! ! Go, find out online For if nothing has been revealed Then something has been concealed.........i know a person who would agree...the government is concealing! U.S. government in our case in 'the states'. i don't wholeheartedly agree, but i wouldn't put it past them. favorite lines so far: For if there is no pure water And thirst reaches its border bri ;) yes, the poem does make some sense and i may have detected a slight smile on my face.

Sometimes we have to go online to find something that will make us smile. Your poem certainly has done that. A playful reminder that everything we need to know is online. We just need to search for it. Well done, Clarence.

Finding every thing is very right. But still many things we do not find searching online. Why moon lights and why sun shines are specific to search. Very amazing poem is shared! ...10
