It's Okay With Me

Rating: 5.0

IT'S OKAY WITH ME

it's okay with me ---
I can straighten my tie
and tie up the shoe laces perfectly
I can put cream
on sunken cheeks
and smell the real odour of
my buried years.

The spring leaves its perfumes
behind long after its exit
in my eyes --
the cool stars calm my
nerves in driving rain
and burning noontide.

It's okay with me.
I can smile with the moon
floating among party crowds

What about you
who cannot dream
a single dream
without your night lotion
or think of lotus on tranquil waters
without a face mask

--- you need a computer mouse
to colour your
vacuous fantasies
built for you
by the website.
Blossoming spring must wait
before you straighten your skirt hem
which takes an infinity!
Or
till you have selected your
autumnal blouse
to drape over your
wintry bosom.
