It's Not Love, It's The Absents Of Love Poem by Kristin Green

It's Not Love, It's The Absents Of Love

Rating: 5.0

Love isn't painful, it's the absents of love that's painful.
Falling in love is wonderful.
Love is the one emotion that you can't put into words,
it's just that amazing.
But when love comes to an end, only one is left with love for the other.
While the other has left with no love for that one.
It's the absents of love from the other that's painful,
not the love that the other has given.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Everyone always says that love is painful or love sucks. This poem is my view on the whole thing. Being in relationships and falling in love then losing the love has made me realize that the pain doesn't come until the love is gone. So I believe that it's not the love that has caused the hurt, it's the loss of the love that has caused the hurt.

I agree, because when you love a person with all your heart, on the succeeding days when love absent, with your heart you will feel down...
