It’s Not For Us To Question, ‘why? ’ Poem by Dr John Celes

It’s Not For Us To Question, ‘why? ’

When problems come galore
It’s not for us to ask, ‘why more? ’
Or curse our birthday in this world,
But accept things quite bold.

When woes come more than joys in life,
It’s not for us to ask, ‘why strife? ’
God has a plan for each of us,
And underlying bliss!

When things happen unexpected,
It’s not for us to question, ‘why? ’
‘Ask God for patience and His grace,
And will to bravely face! ’

When death comes by,
It’s not for us to question, ‘why
The Almighty has allowed it? ’
But meekly just submit.
