It's no longer pleasant step out into the Street in the Dark

Rating: 4.0

For years the concerts have been cancelled
stanza by stanza
since each head has encased itself in glass

Seduction in dangerous frequencies
still emanates from the songs
of seagulls and martens
that have become undistinguishable
and in dark corners pennyless
women wait for you
with their assault-like smiles

The city magazine advises
that there is cheerfulness among the children with
cat's faces they make for really
good horoscopes

They announce
note by note
a modern
marriage between you and the night
while they with their left hands cut
rubber toys into pieces
and then smoke a fag
It looks dangerous

But they are honest
you'll get
your hand back
