It's Never Too Late Poem by Hazel Durham

It's Never Too Late

Rating: 5.0

Tears fall on a forgotten grave,
The lonely and the brave,
Silence is at ease here with souls to save,
Names carved out on polished stone,
They stare out with the wisdom they are never alone,
Fresh cut flowers brighten some plots, yellow, pink and red,
To awaken the aura of the dead,
As night falls and darkness creeps,
The mighty and powerful weeps
For their lost possessions their greed runs so deep,
People who lived simple lives awake and leap
Into the party of souls that reap
A bounty of love, joy and endless happy dreams in their sleep,
They have no need, they are at peace indeed,
For in their life they gave their hearts to lift
Kindness, goodness and an eternal love God's greatest gift,
The party is rocking to the beat as souls dance,
They unite in fun and romance,
The dance of no greed, no envy, no hate,
Just love set free as it's never too late!

Very amazing poem on death topic is composed. With lonely brave in silence tears fall down. Simple lives awake and in kindness God gifts his love which is greatest gift so far we realize. Very interesting composition shared definitely. Nicely penned.10

Those who gave abundant measure of love and helped others in their time of need have peace and rest in their sleep. They resurrect to an eternal life of joy and bliss and live happy in a world which knows no hate or envy! A beautiful poem on the dead!

Another great sentiment here, Hazel. Wish I had your belief though, life would be much more bearable knowing that peace and joy will be the ultimate reward.
