It's Late at Night

It’s late at night, I think of you
If you were here, what would I do
Well I first I would want to curl
Close and tight around my girl
To smell you, now your neck to kiss,
My ideal feeling, sensual bliss
To feel your body close to me
Warm and naked, it feels to me
Finally, I’m loved and free
Of all the stress, responsibility
Another day of work for me
If all life offers is this moment
Of unadulterated enjoyment
Then I’ll take it, it’s a deal
Because the joy of love is real
I love to love you, so I do
My love for you is strong and true
The simplest pleasure, amplified
My deepest desires, satisfied
I love to you love you, so I do,
My love for you is strong and true

Poem of the Day

poet Sir John Suckling

Dost see how unregarded now
That piece of beauty passes?
There was a time when I did vow
To that alone;
But mark the fate of faces;
