It's Just Life Poem by Rowan Truebody

It's Just Life

Why is it always me? What don’t they see?
I never seem to be enough, don’t quite make the grade
I get offered something, then it seems to fade
Always second best, never win the race
And I always accept, with dignity and grace.

There’s a light in my eye, and fire in my heart
But always seem to get left in the dark
Unforgettable, yet always replaceable
“You’re important” I hear the refrain
Yes I am, but not enough

And then again it’s
Sorry you’re hurt, it’s just life, it’s tough.

To be second best, still remains the fact that, you are ONE of the BEST and be thankful for you made your life useful.....had an essense than nothing at all.
