It's Gonna Rain! Poem by Octavius Johnson

It's Gonna Rain!

It's rainin'! It's stormin'!
What am I gonna do?
How am I gonna make it through?

It's rainin'! It's stormin'!
Where am I gonna go?
When does this trouble end, I don't know?

It's rainin'! It's stormin'!
I'm alone in all this.
Does anyone care if I'm alive? If I exist?

It's rainin'! It's stormin'!
Why am I moanin' and cryin'? !
Instead of tryin', prayin' and pressin'!

It's rainin'! It's stormin'!
Where is my belief, faith, and trust? !
Because the clouds come and release on the just and unjust!

It's rainin'! It's stormin'!
And my Lord was with you yesterday He's with you today, too.
And knows you're true and He will get you through.

It's rainin'! It's stormin'!
Jesus stands by you in His will!
With the calming words, Peace be still!

It's rainin'! It's stormin'!
Hold on and at the appointed time,
The clouds will break, the Son will shine!

It's rainin'! It's stormin'!
When you reach for the Mark,
That faith is your Noah's ark

It's rainin'! It's stormin'!
Trouble don't last always.
The Lord our Savior will bring brighter days!
