You were so swift and strong
A low whistle
I followed wherever you led
It’s all in my head

A blue heart shaped Sapphire
A turtle
Protecting an opal
The past, present and future

Life was better
Because you lived
Hearing you laugh
Inspired my head

We never got to dance
Flowers remain fresh
Coffee was best
Next to you

It’s all in my head now
You were in it for the long run
No more, no less
You were the best

The distance remains
In the cold winter
Your smile keeps
Me warm
