It Once Soothed Me Poem by Death Reaper

It Once Soothed Me

Rating: 3.5

The soft breeze soothes me
As I look into the sky,
Lying under the tree
I feel time swiftly passing by.
The grass tickles the back of my neck frequently,
As inside, I slowly die
I have no more necessity,
In this thing I call a lie.

Here is breath taking,
Here is mesmerizing,
But this place is faking
When the world is rising
Through a hell of only making
As we continue devising
New ways of waking
The demons of disguising.
