It May Soon Be Over
IT MAY SOON BE OVER
It may soon be over
I seem to have exhausted it
I repeat myself
Apparently I have said what I had to say
The longing and love for poetry
I enjoyed it so much
The writing of poetry
A few lines and a day's work done
But I believe I have done for now
Perhaps for ever
And I have loved it so much
What can I possibly do now
That will equal it?
