It May Become Necessary To Take A Detour Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

It May Become Necessary To Take A Detour

Clear a path for those who approach,
Carrying their excessive baggage.
They will seek assistance,
From anyone within distance...
To ease with a dumping,
Of their aging an old issues.

Just clear a path and let them pass.
It may become necessary to take a detour.
Just to ensure a convincing isn't done,
To have someone's company 'dragging' along.
Especially when a mission of one,
Has been focused upon...
With a determination that dismisses delays.
