It Filled His Soul Poem by Kasia Fedyk

It Filled His Soul

Rating: 2.8

I've seen you
look at a little child
sitting on a corner
where bombs explode
the child sat silent and covered his ears
in a moment of terror
you could see in his angelic eyes
he was alone
but not lonely
your eyes
streets where covered with anger
voices of hate traveled through the streets
trees covered with fire
hearing them cry made the child shiver
he blocked his emotions
in the moments to come
he was numb with all that was happening around him
he felt you
your love stumbled upon him like a wave
of comfort
he felt a river flowing in him
that took him to a place of refuge
he sat now in his haven
covered with a scarf of hope
as your eyes gazed at him
you were far away, I know
but love was close
so close to his heart
in spite of all the ego around
the spirit within the child was alive
his fear has escaped him
and joy has filled his heart
in as instant
your eyes looked at the boy
with love
it filled his soul
beyond control

A beautiful sensitive and real poem about war, fear and terror from the eyes of a child and from the eyes of love.

so beautiful and truth from the heart....God is always with us no matter what will happen he will never leave our side he is there in our happiness to celebrate it with us He is there in our sadness to help us go through it..He is always there.....and you have told us that in so beautiful way a splendid job and as usual you made me speechless..... “Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart.” ? Mahatma Gandhi love you, payal
