It Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

It

It...
Would not exist if,
You hadn't it discovered.
And you didn't believe it real.
But for you it became important,
To have others see it revealed.

It...
Would not exist if,
You were without a persistence.
And you did not commit.
But committing is one of your assets.
With a focus devoted to it.

It...
Would not exist if,
You hadn't it discovered.
And thought it no benefit.
But giving it reason and purpose,
Made it to become what you wished.

It...
Would not exist if,
You did not have it wished.
And if it was not your wish,
It...
Would not exist.

And if to exist, Is trying to figure out, Why It exists, Why did you ever question, That it exists?
