Ister

Tihuje tihuje predivni Ister
pahuljom obali oblači halje
pjevuši umilno beskrajna rijeka
išti me dalje nađi me dalje

strahuje strahuje predivni Ister
da mu nad izvrom više ne bdim
strahuje strahuje hoće mi kosu
pramenjem da mu u ušću lebdim

tihuje tihuje mili moj Ister
kune me tokom a tok mu tih
nek pustoš bude svaki tvoj stih
ako ga ne snih ako ga ne snih

Poem of the Day

poet Percy Bysshe Shelley

We are as clouds that veil the midnight moon;
How restlessly they speed, and gleam, and quiver,
Streaking the darkness radiantly!--yet soon
