Isolation And Loneliness Poem by Jenna Bain

Isolation And Loneliness

Rating: 5.0

</>It’s a cold bitter place, my child
In the heart or mind,
Deep down within the soul,
Comes a cry for help that is so hard to find.

The cold hard earth lies beneath our feet my child,
With nothing to listen to but the rustling of leaves,
Alone once again.
That feeling of loneliness, sinking into the heart.

It’s not the thought my child,
But the feeling.
The feeling of everywhere to run,
But somehow nowhere to hide,

A name vanishes my child, in the world of millions,
A soul starts to disappear,
Identification lost in the distant,
Despair settles in...deep within.

In a world where wounds are so fresh my child,
And never do heal,
Isolation never does fade,
Since all there is to keep are the most painful moments.

Its a cold bitter place my child...this loneliness and isolation,
And with a stone cold face,
Pretends he's said his good-byes,
To the whole human race.

If he were to die in the wild,
Would anyone mourn him?
My Poor lonely child
Only to be left to drift with the wind.
