A smile could bring a thousand tears
A frown can do a swing of jynx.
Somehow the answer of the question you ask
Only leads you to another path.

Feelings are emotions rare of thought
You could feel them and not understand.
Why do you cry in the joy of laughter?
Why feel sad when you'd rather feel rapture?

Time and time and again
Wayward longings come out of my head.
Though my mind runs with the wind,
Actions betray my gushing wings.

You can touch lives still
Yours could remain untouched
You can save with a smile
Still not know what you have done.

You could live in the dark,
And be your own guiding light
You can look above and smile to God
Though that smile is only in your eyes....
