Isn'T It The Image Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Isn'T It The Image

A dignifying of a known decadence,
To adorn and dress to impress...
In a suit and tie may to many make sense.
Since...
Isn't it the image,
And not what's underneath it...
That is more effective,
When convincing others of an innocence...
To protect as it's accepted.

Isn't it the image,
One presents...
That convinces,
Of an innocence...
One defends.

And...
Isn't it the image,
One presents...
That convinces,
Of an innocence...
One defends.

And...
It's about image.
Isn't it?
The image presented.
Isn't it?

Isn't it the image.
Isn't it?
That one presents.
Isn't it?
That convinces,
Of an innocence...
One defends.

Since...
Isn't it the image,
And not what's underneath it...
That is more effective,
When convincing others of an innocence...
To protect as it's accepted.

And...
Isn't it the image.
Isn't it?
Isn't it the image.
Isn't it?
Isn't it the image.
Isn't it?
Isn't it?
Isn't it?
