Island Paradise Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Island Paradise

Red brick islands of insane moss
We gloat like cliffs of slippery sanity
Colored in the self indulgent rain
We are the departed
We are the brazen elves
Gliding into madness
Pull me out
Talk to me of change
Forgiving candles
Couples of the American winter
The world has become captive
We talk like wise sinful friends
This island paradise gentle with cats
