Is Truth Empty? Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Is Truth Empty?

Rating: 5.0

Where’s the truth?
I kept searching
Looked in the palace
On top of the hill.

I searched every
Nook and corner
To tell you the truth
Empty it was all.

Next I searched
In a thatched hut
In the deep slums
Of the busy town.

Truth was hiding
In kitchen somewhere
Empty pots and
Food nowhere.

Truth seems to lie
In emptiness indeed
It keeps away from
Pomp and greed.

Truth knows not
Rich or poor
No difference of
Color or creed.

And as you find the truth as a meaningful entity, your poem reaches it zenith of beauty.
