The day started cold on this Thanksgiving day
people helping people, foundations they lay
The foundation I speak of is the Lords' awesome glory
it's been written and told, The Biblical Story
Generations ago, living was hard
and yes back then, there was the Race card
People chose sides, turned backs on another
whatever happened? are'nt we all brothers?
Times have changed, though things stay the same
break out of that mold, live Life's game
Help other people whatever their shade
mental ability, the Lord hath made
Walk with your pride deep in your heart
You, and you alone, please do your part

The Lord said the same, in many many ways
thats why clouds are on sunlit days
This Thanksgiving Day is a miracle to see
people helping people, not just me! ! !
