Lately I've been thinking
Wondering out loud
If it's alright to miss you
The way I miss you now

My days and nights run together
Like water colors in the rain
My heart had been hurt before
But, it's never known this kind of pain

I've had lovers in the past
Who have told me goodbye
But looking back I can say
Not one of them ever made me cry

But this time it was different
For me it was plain to see
You are the only woman
I ever let inside of me

I love you more then anyone
I've ever loved before
I'm hoping that you'll tell me
On us, you haven't closed love's door
