Is It Love Poem by Neo Patricia Monamodi

Is It Love

Shall this not be true love I shall die
I fall not often but once too deep
My heart grazes carefully for something pure
Words are cheap but man’s acts speak for him
Your willingness to be patient excite scare me
Are you real or it’s in my mind? …

When cold water of the skies drizzle
My heart pines for the beauty of your company
You say not much but your heart dazzles at your look
Fragile and soft you seem, yet again mean and arrogant
Spontaneity of character indeed
I believe in fairy tale kind of love my love…

Are you scared or this is genuine respect?
Less emotion displayed yet all confessed
Light brownness of your beautiful skin
Low gentle laughter of discomfort or perhaps…love
Your beauty astonish and scare me
Beauty though is nothing with no love my dear…

You are simply at heart glamour
I try to say in words but lack in grammar
Yours is sweetness, no shining amours
What shall be the end of this drama?
Can you love me like a princess and hurt me not?
I long for your unending love so deep and wide…

I long for endless memories with you
Shall I go further to longing for the I do’s
Or shall I end only at the dances with the moon?
Are you not to me yet just another aspiring lover
Will you love me forever and never want to change me?
I would love you for yourself my dear, I would love you unendingly
