Invisible Tears Poem by The philosopher

Invisible Tears

Rating: 5.0

I feel pain
pain in my heart
My faith and my logic are growing apart

I have fear
Fear clinching inside
My nightmares and my reality coincide

I have doubt
Doubt in my mind
My hopes and my despair often collide

I'm restless
Restless and worried
The facts converge to a future, that's horrid

I feel tears
Invisible tears from my eyes
Depicting my soul's silent cries

I wear a smile
A smile Hard to sustain
Its corners suffer the invisible tears' strain

Deep feelings expressed with a wonderful command of the language. A pleasant display of fine poetic skills, in a sober introspection elegantly brought forth in persuasive poetic expressions. Thanks for sharing.
