Intrigued By Your Soul Poem by Bernard Thorpe

Intrigued By Your Soul

you intrigue me,
the way your thoughts gather in an infinite abyss,
little spakles of ideas scattered like morning mist,
the freedom from constraints, your ability to believe,
the way you speak of wonders and ants abilities to achieve,
perhaps it is a reflection on my self-imposed constraints,
perhaps that is what drew me to your side,

i used to wonder too you know,
about the future and me and you,
and how molecules collect to form,
how we can hurt and love and still believe,

perhaps it is because i forever want to be,
a student of your soul
