Intoxication Poem by Jade Hymora

Intoxication

Breathe deep the poison spores of my flower

Let your mind slip into sweet hallucinations

Feel it spreading through every fiber of your being

Float through waves of ecstasy

Feel the kiss of inebriation

Let the heat radiate throughout you

As your other senses dull

Heightening your sense of touch

Feel the rush of the flood

Let the feeling wash over you

Let go of all worldly things

Leave behind the world you know

Fall under the influence

Immerse yourself in liquid rapture

Come to my toxic paradise

Live in my world of eternal rhapsody

I must admit that this intoxication is hard to turn down. The writer makes it so appealing. A very good job of expressing this feeling of rapture. I do have a problem with the line splits. It tends to disrupt the reading. So, I hope they will be closed up. A fine job otherwise. GW62
