Into The Nothing Poem by Barbara Vanier

Into The Nothing

Black holes draw into themselves
matter of time and then they are gone
screaming in fear the light tries to escape
into the Nothing
the universe fear it's life with hate

The Nothing is taking away all that you are
The Nothing is wrong with you as you go mad
The Nothing is missing or taken, go on and play
The Nothing is slipping your life to decay

If Nothing takes everything away
are you really sure it exist that day
how can you, if what you remember was taken away
are you alive or has Nothing taken you to the grave?

The Nothing is taking away all that you are
The Nothing is wrong with you as you go mad
The Nothing is missing or taken, go on and play
The Nothing is slipping your life to decay

Monsters creep out to touch you in the brain
eating rocks of thought and live through decay
Giants, shadow all of what is real
but Nothing grins as reality is steals

The Nothing is taking away all that you are
The Nothing is wrong with you as you go mad
The Nothing is missing or taken, go on and play
The Nothing is slipping your life to decay

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

The Nothing is like a black hole which takes every thing from a living being and let not escape any thing, not even a single word. It's great that you have created a wonderful poem out of nothing. Very impressive indeed!
