Into The Cold Poem by Jessica Stubbs

Into The Cold

The Sun is not shining anymore
I've been locked out of all the doors
My body is sore
I'm damaged to the core

What to do now
Maybe I'll just lie down
My mouth is already set in a permanent frown
Might as well drown

Let all of it go
Let myself succumb to the cold
