Intense Days Poem by Courtney Shanahan

Intense Days

Rating: 3.0

Insomnia takes over
Eating habits change
Dry hands turn to wet ones
So shaky you could move a tree
A simple ‘what day is it? ’
Can turn into a ‘what’s my name? ’
People can get physically hurt from you
Yelling and anti-social becomes normal
Crying and laughing in a minute
Drugs become food
Alcohol becomes water
Have you ever felt stress?
