Instant Karma Poem by Miroslava Odalovic

Instant Karma

You want conversations per detoxications
Intellyjelly fish to glide
Right to your side to be satisfied

You want crowns and clowns
And kings to sing
Queens to declaim fools to disdain
Pages to feed you messengers to speed you

You want pills to refill
Your cures obscure
In ill cups and taps
Hats and caps
You want plumbers to leek
Down the tubes and a freak
Your flaws to mend
Some life to recommend

Some booze to choose
A sip to amuse
A tired tongue
A snake hiss flung
Into the sound
Pecking the ground
Tech me pack notes
Pack me tech quotes
In silver to dance
Dead end romance

Some yoga and tantra mantra
To do chakra simulacra boo
A Hindu would laugh at you
But he's too busy to live
Just as you're too busy to give

You want detox botox and face to lift
A face to book a twitter to tweet
A sweeper to hook from a concrete street
A magic wand to understand
The mirro mirro looking for a gift
Some dust to sift some dust to sift

You want psychopop litter-a-ture
Some feeble happiness to right now allure
Into the trash of your emo mish mash
Trifles and junks of a busy trade
Door to door heaven just count to seven
And hold your breath real tight
Until you've seen…the light
