Inspirations Poem by David Harris

Inspirations

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes inspirations
come from humble things,
things that many people
don’t take the time to see.
They go on life’s journey
ignoring everything around,
the sweet sound of nature
that all around us are found.
They ignore the life giving air
that is tempered by the breeze.
They only see what they want,
ignoring all they have.
Then a writer comes along
his mind ready to explore
all the beauty and all the sounds
and writes them down.
They call it inspiration
and everywhere it can be found.

Nothing should be ignored...but you are so right...to the writer everything becomes larger than life...like looking at the world under a microscope...we take our words and capture the views
