“ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, let there be light, and there was light.’ (Genesis 1: l-3)

Come nearer, you my Maker
Words lie there formless, dead, waiting for meaning
Come and fill this void with light
Name the nameless, conquer the loneliness of this land
Inhabit this empty heart
The breath of your spirit:
The deep made Eden.

Be! Said He and it became. Nothing is impossible for the creator. The words are nothing other than the bearers of energy. Fill them with love and they'll become powerful. An inspiring write! Keep it up!

You have aptly captured the spirit of the Bible. Good work. 'Words lie there formless, dead'. 'Dead' is not true. What is not yet within our power of cognitive level need not be dead. It is only a stage of non-clarity from our level of perception. In oriental philosophy, this stage of non-clarity is coined as 'Avyaktha'. 'Vyaktha' is clarity. We have to understand that before the evolution of languages, there was man and his thoughts that implies the fact that for our thinking, language is not necessary. The primitive man heard the voices of this Nature in various moods and forms and began associating these forms of sounds to forms of Nature. These forms of sound later evolved into words and man associated these words to corresponding forms and ideas. For example, the word 'stream' has been evolved from the very voice of a stream. The primitive man clearly heard this voice. Another example - 'Crow'. Haven't you noticed the very cry of a crow - 'cra', 'cra'...
