It can't be taught,
It can't be bought,
Inspiration,
The most mysterious,
Of human sensations,
Producing Miracles,
Of creation.
What one simple word can do. You have covered this so beautifully and you have the girt to inspire others.
Thanks Sandra for the inspiring life lesson, lately Mr. Kelly Kurt has been inspiring me silently, invisibly. I have found that what little I write in my own little capacity inspiration to write or ideas can come from anywhere, a holy text, a chat with a friend or my own thoughts. But there is a mysterious element somewhere as u say in the poem. Thank you again for sharing this wonderful thought

IT CAN'T BE TAUGHT - because it's too unique, focused on an individual, precisely modulated to the mind and heart of its recipient. IT CAN'T BE BOUGHT - His publisher objected to the difficulties of Beethoven's last five string quartets, even though he acknowledged their greatness - because no one would buy them. Beethoven's response: A MAN'S MIND IS NOT A SALEABLE COMMODITY. Yeah! ! You cite two of the most important elements we creative writers must deal with candor and commitment. The best we can hope for - and this is huge! - is to find ways to put ourselves and others in situations that PROMOTE inspiration.
