Insomnia Poem by Fab Ricciardi

Insomnia

When did you stop dreaming?
When did you start dreaming?

And,
While the whole world’s asleep,
My questions running deep,
Why is it, the tormented soul won’t sleep,
While the whole world’s asleep?
So, while the whole world’s asleep,
Why am I still awake, or
Ami I dreaming that I’m awake,
While the whole world’s asleep?

And I’m tired and confused,
And I cannot sleep,
While the whole world’s asleep.
